C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille Rivard vous informe du décès de Madame Monique Rivard, née Verrier, épouse de feu Guy Rivard de Judge, Ontario.
Elle est décédée le 19 janvier 2021 à l’âge de 81 ans à Sudbury, ayant succombé au virus COVID-19.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses filles : Jocelyne, Marjolaine (Matthew Lorincz), Carmen, Sylvie (David Johannsson), son fils Mario (Leah Rivard); ses petits-enfants : Jamie (Thierry L. Dugas), Geneviève (Tyler Riel), Erik (Tiffany Bruneau), Dylan (Cassandra Leblond), Philippe, Adam, Cassie (Jayson Stewart), Alexandre, Daniel, Véronique, Zoë, Marc, Chelsey et ses arrière-petits-enfants : Skyler, Melodie, Cédric, Émeric, Vincent, Camille, Zephryn.
Également dans le deuil sont ses sœurs : Mariette (Laurent Rivard), Rose-Alice (feu Roland Bigras), Françoise (feu Don Byrne), ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs : Noël, Sylvain (Jeannine Laliberté), Lauraine, Céline (François Lefebvre), Jacinthe (Clément Bernier), Ghislaine et Daniel.
Monique est partie rejoindre son mari Guy Rivard, ses parents Lucien Verrier et Jeannette, née McLean; ses beaux-frères, Gérald, Michel; sa belle-sœur Rhéa, de même que plusieurs neveux, nièces, autres parents et amis.
Son amour, sa grande générosité et son accueil nous manqueront. Quelle chance nous avons eue de l’avoir dans nos vies. Merci!
Que son âme repose dans la paix éternelle. La porte du ciel lui est grande ouverte, les grâces de Dieu l’accueilleront.

Une célébration de vie aura lieu lorsqu'il nous sera possible de se rassembler en personne.

It is with immense sadness that the Rivard family announces of the passing of Monique Rivard (née Verrier), wife of Guy Rivard (predeceased 2013), of Judge, Ontario. She was taken by COVID-19 on January 19th, 2021 at 81 years young.
Leaving many in mourning, her daughters: Jocelyne, Marjolaine (Matthew Lorincz), Carmen, Sylvie (David Johannsson); her son Mario (Leah Rivard); her beloved grand-children : Jamie (Thierry L. Dugas), Geneviève (Tyler Riel), Erik (Tiffany Bruneau), Dylan (Cassandra Leblond), Philippe, Adam, Cassie (Jayson Stewart), Alexandre, Daniel, Véronique, Zoë, Marc, Chelsey; and her great-grand-children : Skyler, Melodie, Cédric, Émeric, Vincent, Camille, Zephryn.
Her sisters: Mariette (Laurent Rivard), Rose-Alice (feu Roland Bigras), Françoise (feu Don Byrne); her sisters and brothers in law : Noël, Sylvain (Jeannine Laliberté), Lauraine, Céline (François Lefebvre), Jacinthe (Clément Bernier), Ghislaine et Daniel.
Monique is now reunited with the love of her life, Guy Rivard; her parents Lucien Verrier and Jeannette (née McLean); her brothers-in-law, Gérald and Michel; her sister-in-law Rhéa; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and family.
Her kind heart, generous soul, unwavering love and outstanding hospitality will forever be missed. All those who had the chance of knowing her, know how truly lucky they are – and undoubtedly all say, Merci Monique!
With the gates of heaven wide open, the grace of God welcomed her. May her sweet soul rest in eternal peace.
The family would like to take the time to especially thank Sylvie Rivard and David Johannsson for assisting Monique.
A celebration of life will be organized when it will be possible to gather again.
