La Coopérative funéraire du Témiscamingue vous informe du décès de Jim Lynn le samedi 9 janvier 2021, au Fairview Manor à Almonte Ontario, à l’âge de 92 ans.
La famille invite parents et amis à se joindre à elle pour se recueillir le 4 juin 2022 de 13h00 à 14h00 à l'église paroissiale St. Therese de Témiscaming. Les funérailles auront lieu à 14h, l'inhumation suivra au cimetière de Témiscaming à 15h00.
James Lynn laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée : Rita (née Burke) Lynn (2006), mère : Mary Belle (née Munro) Lynn, belle-mère : Catherine (née Hall) Lynn, père : Hugh Lynn, sœurs : Corinne (née Lynn) Alp et Lois Lynn, frère : Mickey Lynn et beau-frère : Vic Alp. Il laisse également le père de Janet (Edouard) Vaillancourt, Mary Ellen Lynn (Mike Keffer), grand-père de Tammy Vaillancourt et Trevor Vaillancourt, arrière-grand-père de Kyla, Matthew, Emma et Alexie Vaillancourt.
Jim était gentil, fort, doux, attentionné et travailleur. Il avait un grand sens de l'humour. Il aimait s’amuser et vivre plein d'aventure. Il a rendu la vie amusante pour ceux qui l’entouraient. Il aimait bien rire, raconter une bonne histoire. Sans s'en rendre compte, il a été un mentor et un enseignant.
Un mari dévoué, un père merveilleux, un grand-père et un arrière-grand-père, un frère, un fils fidèle et un ami spécial pour beaucoup, anciens et nouveaux. C'était une belle personne. Il aimait la vie.
Dire que Jim nous manquera est un énorme euphémisme. Il a touché de nombreux cœurs et enrichi d'innombrables vies tout en étant lui-même. Il nous a donné de belles histoires à raconter et d'innombrables beaux souvenirs qui nous aideront, selon ses mots sages, à "continuer".

It is with great sadness that we announce Jim’s passing early Saturday evening January 9, 2021, at Fairview Manor in Almonte Ontario. He was in his 92nd year.
The family invites family and friends for the visitation at St. Theresa Parish church on June 4th. 2022 from 1 till 2pm
Funeral mass will be held at 2pm, the burial will follow at the Temiscaming cemetery at 3 o’clock.
Predeceased by his loving wife: Rita (nee Burke) Lynn (2006), mother: Mary Belle (nee Munro) Lynn, stepmother: Catherine (nee Hall) Lynn, father: Hugh Lynn, sisters: Corinne (nee Lynn) Alp and Lois Lynn, brother: Mickey Lynn, and brother-in-law: Vic Alp. Survived by and dear father of Janet (Edouard) Vaillancourt, Mary Ellen Lynn (Mike Keffer), grandfather of Tammy Vaillancourt and Trevor Vaillancourt, great- grandfather of Kyla, Matthew, Emma and Alexie Vaillancourt.
Jim was kind, strong, gentle natured, thoughtful, hard-working, had a great sense of humor, and was full of fun and adventure. He made life fun for others. He loved a good laugh, a good story, and to be able to leave someone feeling a bit better about their day and even about themselves. Without realizing it he was a mentor and a teacher.
A devoted husband, a wonderful and dear father, grandfather and great grandfather, loyal brother and son, and special friend to many, both old and new. He was a beautiful person. He loved life.
To say that Jim will be missed is a huge understatement. He touched many hearts and enriched countless lives as he went along just being himself. He has given us great stories to tell and endless beautiful memories that will help us to, in his sagely words, “keep on going”.
